A study of a magnificent Peregrine which was being rehabilitated by a friend. First image I've posted here. I have no idea what I'm supposed to be writing here, I hope I can edit it later. I mean, what if you're only supposed to put the standard title/medium/year thing, I'll look a right numbnuts! Ah well, too late now.

Thank you Meathive, very kind. They are beautiful birds to draw, great shapes. Although the advice I give to every artist who asks (not that you did) is to just draw, anything, and often. Every day if possible. Every thing you draw makes you better, even if its not very good, just draw!
Thanks Magic! Actually some of them are in Field guides, I'm the head illustrator for the iBird series of apps (for iPad iPhone etc), and I also did a few panels for HANZAB which is a huge 7 volume set of books on the birds of Australia, New Zealand and Antarctica. It's not what I think of myself doing, I prefer to paint in oils, but it pays the bills.
Your drawings should be in field guides. They're the kind the field guide people like. They're detailed and have sharp edges.
